Remember!

I wouldn't feel right if I didn't take a moment to remember the tragic event that occurred 7 years ago.  How does one go through a tragedy like this (whether they were right there living it, or witnessing from near and far places) and not come out a different person?    It reminds me that some things are too silly to stress about and life is too precious to just let it pass without making an effort to do something amazing, to help someone in need and to let loved ones know just how you feel.  We are so lucky to live with such freedom and I feel like sometimes that is forgotten, I know I'm guilty.  I was in NYC last year, I stayed in a hotel right across the street from the World Trade Center.  I can't even begin to explain the emotion that I felt being there and speaking with people that witnessed it.  How did we get to this point, where we harm our fellow men, where the disregard for human life is so evident?  What can we do to make a difference?  I pray that we figure it out!
